Total 15,63,617 candidates applied for male post and 5,06,338 for female post. On the basis of 10th and 12th marks 4,33,880 male candidates shortlisted for physical test. 16th may to 23th may 2016 PT conducted for male. 87, 132 female candidates 7th to 9th may for PT Test. Up police last year cut off marks.

Final Selection arrive on the basis of 10th , 12th , and physical test marks.
10th marks convert = 100 marks
12 th marks convert= 200 marks
PT marks convert = 300 marks
So final list prepared out off 500 marks.

ON GETTING SAME SCORE IN UP POLICE CUT OFF MARKS 2015:
If two candidates got same number then following rule consider for preference.
1. Highest Sum of 10th and 12th marks consider for preference.
2. If above same then NIELT or DOEACC computer certificate holder given preference.
3. If both same then maxmum age candidates would be given preference.

You can analysis previous year up police Constable cut off marks was moderate not so high or not very low. Female cutoff was low as compare to male category.
UP POLICE DOCUMENT VERIFICATION:
After qualifying examination there is document verification process take place. Following documents required in prescribed format.
- 10th class certificate with DOB and name matched with it. You can say it is age proof document.
- Other educational qualification certificates.
- OBC OR SC OR ST OR other reservation certificate issue by Competent Authority. Remeber OBC NCL certificate not older than 1 year.
- Domicile certificate.
- Aadhar number.
- Character certificate from last education institution.
- Medical certificate if asked.
- NOC from previous employer if you are working in psu or state government job.
- Others Like police verification take place later, document verification by tehsil and educational board take place later.
