Finally UGC NET july 2018 answer key has been released. CBSE ( Central Board of Secondary Education) UGC NET ( NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST) has conducted examination on 8th and 22nd july 2018 successfully. There is continuous changes in pattern of examination from last 2 examination November 2017 and July 2018. In January 2017 there was first genral paper of 60 questions and 2 optional paper of subject. In November, CBSE made a change in Genral paper reduced questions 60 to 50, all compulsory. From this year july 2018 exam, both optional paper merged to one paper of 100 questions consisting 200 marks and time duration also reduced only 120 minutes. Thats why due to huge changes in it, ugc net july 2018 cut off subject wise further down.
Remeber: There is aggregate cut off means overall cutoff out of 300 marks ( sum of both paper), no paper wise cutoff.
UR: 40% ( 120 marks)
Reserve categories: 35% ( 105 marks).

Examination time was so less specially for paper-I. It was very difficult to attempt whole paper within 60 minute. Approximately 1 minute given for one question. On an average most of them score below 20 right questions after checking with official answer key.
Even Paper-II has less time as compare to previous year examination. This year so many assertion- reason and statements questions asked thats never asked in these number before.

November 2017 exam has single change , 10 questions choices eliminated. 50 out of 50 has to be attempt. Level of PAPER-I also increased. As result eligibility for assistant professor cutoff down by 2% to 4%. You can see below.
