WHY EWS CUT OFF IS TOO LOW:

This year new category introduced in csir ugc net examination. the candidates who are economically weak those comes into this category. when we analyse cut off there is huge difference in UR and EWS category cutoff marks. even OBC cutoff is higher as compare to EWS cut off. Main reason of this who are economical weak students, those are less number in post graduation qualification. most of the middle class students after graduation start preparation for IBPS/CGL/CLERL/GROUP D/ RRB etc. that why cut off is low. its is one of the reason, other reasons are till now less number of candidates have EWS certificate. most of the states are not started to issue EWS certificate.

CAN OBC CANDIDATE CAN APPLY IN EWS CATEGORY:

Now this question comes in mind of OBC NCL candidates after seeing too low cut off in EWS category. Answer is yes , they can apply in EWS category but they will not get OBC NCL benefits. they can choose only one EWS or OBC NCL. they also full fill the EWS certificate conditions. Any reserve category can choose EWS but then he/she will not entitled any other reservation category.
