HPPSC notification Eligibility Criteria:
- Academic Qualifications: candidates must have Master‟s Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University (with minimum of 50% Marks in aggregate) or its equivalent degree.
- Proficiency Should be in teaching Hindi & English both.
- Professional Qualification: Candidate must have Bachelor Education (B.Ed.) as professional qualification from recognized University / Institution/ other equivalent with minimum 50% marks. OR Two year‟s Integrated M.Sc. Ed. Course from recognized University or an equivalent course from a recognized University.
- Desirable Qualification: Candidates would get preference if they have Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of HP and suitability for appointment in the peculiar or tough conditions prevailing in the HP state.
Scheme of Examination 2019- 2020:
There is 2 stage examination in HPPSC lecturer vacancy 2019 . first stage written examination objective type of 85 marks. second stage if Evaluation of experience, qualification, NCC, sports quota, any award etc.

15 marks Evaluation as HP state:
This section has 15 marks on the basis of various criteria.
all Detail of Criteria of 15 marks:
i) All Weightage for the minimum educational qualification, as per the Recruitment & Promotion Rules of HP. (Percentage of marks obtained in the educational qualification would be multiplied by 0.025 factor. For example, an individual has secured 50% marks in the required educational qualifications, he /she would be allowed 1.25 marks i.e.(50 X 0.025 = 1.25).
ii) Similarly if any candidate has secured 100% marks in the required educational qualifications, he /she would be allowed 2.5 marks i.e.(100 X 0.025 = 2.5) (two & a half marks.
